If you’re trained in carpentry, you’ll always have a job! Let us help you get prepared!

For the past couple of decades, the news has constantly been full of talk of new high tech careers, and it only makes sense. We live in a high tech world, and even though we can’t always predict the future, it’s a safe bet that we’re going to continue to find ways to automate more processes, and use technology to replace many outdated careers. But no matter how many improvements that we make to modern computers and the information highway, we will never replace the need for carpenters and skilled craft professionals.

At the Arkansas Construction Education Foundation, we offer apprenticeships in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, electronics, and HVAC, and our primary goal is to satisfy the ever-growing demand for skilled trades-persons. Our carpentry education program is a 2- to 4-year competency-based program, that teaches Apprentices all aspects of carpentry, from cabinet fabrication to advanced roof systems. All apprenticeship courses are certified by the U.S. Department of Labor, recognized by the Arkansas Department of Career Education, and accredited by the National Center for Construction Education and Research.

Your carpentry apprenticeship will involve a carefully designed combination of classroom instruction, and field experience. We operate multiple training centers throughout Arkansas, and you will never have to travel far to receive your training. Our instructors are the most talented tradespeople in the industry, and we work alongside Arkansas’ top companies to provide our students quality field experience, and job placement after graduation.

The demand for skilled tradesmen and women continues to grow, and if you’re an individual who enjoys working with your hands and your head, then contact us today, and we’ll take it from there!
