At the Arkansas Construction Education Foundation (ACEF), we offer several great training and apprenticeship programs tailor-fit to hardworking learners who enjoy working with both their hands and their heads, and if you’re interested in a rewarding new career, we want to hear from you! Our HVAC training programs are certified by the U.S. Department of Labor, recognized by the Arkansas Department of Career Education, and accredited by the National Center for Construction Education and Research. The NCCER curriculum is a great fit for unconventional learners, and involves a combination of rigorous classroom instruction, and experience in the field working alongside Arkansas’ top HVAC experts. We’ve provided quality training to hundreds of students, and our mission is producing a safe, competent and professional workforce for contractors.

When you complete your HVAC controls training program, you will be entering one of the nation’s leading workforces. In fact, According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) predicts that new openings will increase by 21 percent through 2022, and that the demand for qualified applicants will continue to hit record highs! HVAC Technicians earn a median income of nearly $44,000 annually, with some earning more than $70,000 a year, and there are presently thousands of unfilled HVAC jobs available throughout the United States.

Our HVAC Apprenticeship programs will have you fully trained in two to four years, and you will enter the workforce with extensive knowledge of the design, implementation, and maintenance of various heating and cooling systems, including the importance of the ventilation system.
