If you’re a hard worker that’s interested in pursuing an exciting new career, carpentry is an excellent choice! With the large amounts of new construction that are taking place throughout the state of Arkansas, there are plenty of quality jobs that employers are desperate to fill, and in these difficult times, the skilled trades are practically recession-proof.

The Arkansas Construction Education Foundation is the first call that that you should make if you’re interested in learning more about Carpentry Training. We offer two-year and four-year Carpentry Programs led by the most talented and experienced industry professionals in Arkansas. During our carpentry programs, our apprentices will learn all aspects of carpentry, from Cabinet Fabrication to Advanced Roof Systems through a combination of classroom training and field experience. All of our programs are fully certified by the U.S. Department of Labor, and accredited by the National Center for Construction Education and Research. The NCCER curriculum is set up for success, and evaluations will be based on demonstrating what you have learned in an authentic setting. And we offer training at sites throughout the state of Arkansas, so you’ll never have to travel far to complete your coursework.

After completing the program, our graduates receive extensive assistance in finding immediate employment. We partner with all of Arkansas’ top carpentry contractors, and they love hiring our graduates. They tell us that the apprentices that we send them are consistently well-trained in their craft, committed to safety, and fit right in. In fact, many of our graduates are offered employment at the companies that they apprenticed with!
