The HVAC trade is a really cool career!

The Natural State is well known for a wealth of scenic beauty and outdoor recreational activities. People travel to Arkansas from all over the world to enjoy world class vacations, and we all take a lot of pride in hosting visitors and showing them around. Having said that, our beloved state is no stranger to seasonal weather extremes. Our summers are punishingly hot, and there are a few months in the winter when ice and snow slows our lives down to a crawl. We manage to cope with our air conditioning and heating systems, and are prepared to pay a pretty penny to have them repaired or replaced. In fact, many HVAC technicians have trouble folding their wallets during the summer!

The Arkansas Construction Education Foundation offers HVAC training programs, as well as training in several other skilled trades. Our Heating and Air Training program is a 2- to 4-year competency-based program that focuses on HVAC controls training, and the design, implementation, and maintenance of various heating and cooling systems, including the importance of the ventilation system. As an HVAC Apprentice, you will receive a combination of rigorous classroom instruction, and field experience working alongside Arkansas’ top HVAC experts. And we operate numerous training facilities throughout Arkansas, so you will never have to travel far to complete your training!

All of our training programs are certified by the U.S. Department of Labor, recognized by the Arkansas Department of Career Education, and accredited by the National Center for Construction Education and Research. You’ll be evaluated on what you learn, and not what you can memorize. We’re looking for career-driven self-starters that like working with their heads and their hands, and are ready to work with them every step of the way to begin their rewarding new career! Companies love hiring our graduates because they’re ready to contribute on day #1, and their commitment to safety and professionalism is second to none!
