The demand for construction workers is at an all time high, and we can help you with training!

Whether you’re on the road, in the middle of downtown, or somewhere in between, it’s hard to travel very far in Arkansas without seeing new construction or infrastructure expansion taking place. Our communities are growing all over the state, and the demand for skilled trade professionals is at an all-time high.

The Arkansas Construction Education Foundation was founded in 1994 to provide top quality training for construction workers and trade professionals to help satisfy the ever-growing demand for skilled trades-persons. We are always looking for career-minded individuals with a strong work ethic that enjoy working with their hands and their heads. When you begin a construction apprenticeship, you’ll receive a blend of classroom instruction, field experience led by the most experienced professionals in the industry and you’ll be getting a full-time rate of pay while learning the skills that you need to start an exciting new career.

Our students get all the educational opportunities they need to climb as high as they wish on the construction industry’s ladder of success. Good for the individual and the industry, ACEF’s apprenticeship training programs offer our students the unique opportunity to earn full-time pay while learning the skills they can take anywhere in the world. We presently offer 2-4 year programs in the following trades:

  • Electrical Program (2 – 4 years)
  • Plumbing Program (4 years)
  • HVAC: Heating, Ventilation & AC Program (2 years)
  • EST: Electronic Systems Technician Program (4 years)
  • Sprinkler Fitting Program (4 years)

All apprenticeship courses are certified by the U.S. Department of Labor, recognized by the Arkansas Department of Career Education, and accredited by the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER). Many of our graduates are offered jobs at the companies where they apprentice. We also offer job placement services to bring our graduates and prospective employers together.
