Electrical Apprenticeship Overview
- 4 Year Program
- Attend class one night a week at ACEF
- Work full-time with an electrical employer.
This four-year program includes 576 hours of classroom instruction and 8,000 hours of on-the-job training. Electricians install, test, and maintain wiring systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. After completing the program, apprentices receive a “release to test” and may apply for the journeyman electrician’s exam through the Arkansas Department of Labor.
