Building Tomorrow Campaign

Blueprint for the future
We’re incredibly excited to announce the launch of our “Building Tomorrow” Capital Campaign! This initiative is focused on acquiring and transforming a new state-of-the-art administrative and training facility to support our continued growth and impact. Located at 4001 Pratt Remmel Road in the Port of Little Rock, this new 11-acre campus is set to become a vital hub for skilled trades education here in Arkansas.
With a significant $6 million already secured in early commitments, we’re well on our way to realizing this vision. The new facility, scheduled to open in the summer of 2026, will dramatically expand our capacity with:
- Expanded Classroom Space: More room for comprehensive theoretical instruction.
- Dedicated Hands-On Training Labs: State-of-the-art facilities for practical, real-world skill development.
- Brand-New Diesel and Equipment Operator Training Center: Specialized training to meet critical industry needs.
This expansion will allow us to further enhance our instruction and better support our industry partners by producing highly skilled, workforce-ready individuals.
The Need
The challenge
For too long, the idea of success has been narrowly defined. Many people have believed that college is the only route to a fulfilling future, leaving trade careers underrepresented and misunderstood. This mindset has created barriers for students who thrive through hands-on learning or want to enter the workforce sooner. Without accessible, professional training options, these individuals often miss out on opportunities to build lasting and rewarding careers in construction.
The Solution
ACEF’s Building Tomorrow campaign is designed to meet this challenge head-on. By developing a new 11-acre campus in Little Rock students will be provided with the space, tools, and instruction needed to succeed. This includes expanded classroom space, hands-on learning labs, and next-generation equipment for real-world skill development. The campus will support a wide range of individuals including high school students, adults seeking a new path, and individuals reentering the workforce.
The approach
Our plan is rooted in growth, impact, and long-term success. With support from partners and funders, ACEF is building a facility that reflects the professionalism and innovation of today’s construction industry. The campus will include specialized labs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, diesel technology, and heavy equipment. By aligning our training with industry needs, we are preparing Arkansas students for stable careers and helping employers fill critical workforce gaps across the state.
“I’m incredibly proud to be part of this industry and even more grateful to work alongside the partners who are helping bring this vision to life. This isn’t just about building a campus, it’s about building a lasting pipeline of skilled talent for Arkansas. We’re especially thankful for the leadership of AGC Arkansas and their long-standing commitment to workforce development. To everyone who shares our vision for a stronger future, now is the time to step forward. Join us in building tomorrow.”
