- Hours: RTI: 440 Hours
- Dates: Fall semester starts the first week of August. Spring semester starts the first week of January.
- Length of course: Meet once a week for 3 years

Structural Steel Fabrication & Assembly
Learn how to measure, cut, and assemble steel with accuracy and efficiency. Develop the confidence to handle materials safely and precisely on every project.
Rigging & Crane Signaling
Master techniques for lifting and moving heavy materials with cranes and rigging equipment. Understand communication and coordination to keep every lift safe and effective.
Welding & Cutting Techniques
Build strong, precise welds and clean cuts for durable construction work. Gain hands-on practice to become proficient with essential tools and materials.
Blueprint & Layout Reading
Read and interpret project plans to execute tasks correctly. Learn to translate drawings into accurate, real-world installations.
Fall Protection & Site Safety
Develop habits that protect you and your team on every job site. Practice safety standards that are critical in high-risk environments.
Reinforcing Steel Installation

The Apprenticeship Pathway

The Ironworking Apprenticeship Program combines paid, on-the-job training with classroom instruction. You’ll gain experience, mentorship, and skills while building connections with Arkansas employers. Completing the program positions you for a long-term career in this skilled trade.
